Yes. Emory is private property. You must contact the Emory Film Management at 470-603-1705 or filming@emory.edu to make arrangements before coming on the campus.
Yes. You must first make arrangements with the Emory Film Management at 470-603-1705 or filming@emory.edu. We need to know when you plan to be on campus so that we can facilitate your visit, and notify campus police where you will be and that you have permission to take pictures.
Different guidelines apply to the news media. You do not need permission from the Emory Film Management Office. However, before you come to campus, you should contact Sylvia Carson of University Communications at or sylvia.carson@emory.edu or, for filming on the medical campus, you should contact Brian Katzowitz of Health Sciences Communications, brian.katzowitz@emory.edu.
There are fees for any media projects on campus. There are no fees for film projects produced exclusively for an Emory department and paid for directly by Emory University. Contact Emory Film Management at 470-603-1705 or filming@emory.edu for further information.
Emory University, however, seeks to support fellow non-profit, educational, and charitable organizations. While standard fees may still apply, Emory is willing to discuss fees related to filming by non-profit organizations on a case-by-case basis.

Emory Film Management will need to be notified of your project. Inquires for academic film requests should be made to the school's Communications Department. Content approval must be granted by Communications department. Additionally, the student will be responsible for securing permission for use of any indoor campus space from appropriate building manager. The Emory film management can help facilitate contact with appropriate University personnel for approvals.
