The Quad

Henry Hornbostel was hired in 1915 by Emory University to design its first buildings on the Atlanta campus, and he set the tone of red-tile roofs and pink Georgia marble. The quad features large lawns, lush greenery, and access to many of Emory’s key buildings including the Administration Building, Convocation Hall, Candler Library, Callaway Memorial Center, and Carlos Museum.
